The 17for17 Tour: Meet the Custom Buffalo Bills Ford Bronco Built to Give Back

Shannon Bassett

What started as the ultimate tailgating build has become a rolling fundraiser, proving Bills Mafia shows up wherever the road leads.

A few months ago, in the middle of a late-night social media doom scroll, a flash of red and royal blue stopped my thumb in its tracks. As a lifelong Buffalo Bills fan and an unapologetic Ford Bronco lover, a custom 2023 Ford Bronco Heritage Edition decked out in full Buffalo regalia was practically engineered to grab my attention.

One immediate “follow” tap and a deep dive later, I learned this wasn’t just a show rig built for stadium parking lots. It’s the centerpiece of the 17for17 Tour—a season-long cross-country mission dedicated to giving back to the community.

The best part? Bills Mafia doesn’t just get to admire it from afar. You can actually enter to take it home. If you’re a fellow Bills fan, here’s what you need to know about this rig (and the mission behind it).

This story is 100% human-researched and written based on actual first-person knowledge, extensive experience, and expertise on the subject of cars and trucks.

The 17for17 Tour is a Son’s Tribute and a Father’s Legacy

Like most foundations, it all started from humble beginnings

The mastermind behind the 17for17 Tour is Michael “Ski” Jaczewski, a proud Buffalonian whose devotion to the Bills spans decades. Ski attended his first game with his father in 1979 at just five years old. As longtime season ticket holders, the father-son duo attended countless matchups together, always holding onto one shared bucket-list dream: to follow the team across the country and attend every single game—home and away—in a single season.

When his father, Ken Jaczewski, passed away suddenly last football season, Ski knew it was time to turn that shared dream into reality.

“His generosity has inspired our entire family,” Ski shared. “It’s generational, and now it’s my turn to help preserve and pass on that legacy.”

True to Buffalo’s “City of Good Neighbors” spirit, Bills Mafia is no stranger to monumental charity drives, most famously rallying millions in $17 donations for the Patricia Allen Fund at Oishei Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. Ski wanted to amplify that exact ethos on a national scale.

Rather than simply clocking miles to games, he launched a nationwide mission: raising funds for a local pediatric hospital in every single city on the Bills’ schedule. Playing off Josh Allen’s jersey number, the 17for17 Tour set its sights on raising $170,000 across 17 games, with every leg of the tour showing rival fanbases the heart behind Buffalo’s rowdy reputation.

Best of all, the initiative is completely privately funded, ensuring 100% of donations go directly to pediatric care. Ahead of kickoff for Week 1, the campaign had already surged past $10,000 in contributions, and just as many entries for the sweepstakes, where one lucky donor will walk away with the keys to the custom Bronco at season’s end.

Inside the Ultimate Tailgate Rig

The truck itself is a rolling showpiece. Built by SoFlo Customs in West Palm Beach, Florida, the 2023 Ford Bronco Heritage Edition turns heads with a two-tone blue-and-white finish accented by crisp red pinstriping. Inside, the cabin trades factory utilitarianism for luxury, featuring cream-colored, diamond-quilted leather with contrast blue stitching and the team’s charging buffalo embroidered directly into the headrests.

OEM emblems make way for bespoke “Bills” script, matched with official team insignia and 17for17 Tour graphics. Underneath, it clears the pavement on beefy 37-inch all-terrain rubber, paired with a removable modular hardtop for top-down cruising on warm game days. Ski notes that while the upsized rubber gives it a planted, heavy stance, it eats up highway miles with surprising comfort.

As for practicality? A quick visual inspection of the rear cargo area suggests it could easily swallow half a dozen folding tables for proper tailgate preparation. By the time the final whistle blows in February, Ski expects the rig’s odometer to cross the 40,000-mile mark.

How Can You Win the Bills Bronco?

If you weren’t around to scan the QR code on the rear window, there are a few ways you can enter (and thankfully, no purchase is necessary).

When you go to the official website, here’s what you do:

  • Fill out the online entry form with your contact information, and sign up for the newsletter. This gives you 1 entry.
  • You can earn bonus entries by donating to the campaign’s charity partners via their GoFundMe link. Each $1 donated counts as an additional entry.
  • The website says there is a strict limit of 100 entries per person/email/household, regardless of whether entries come via donations, online signups, or mail-ins.
  • You must be 18 or older to enter.
  • The sweepstakes runs through February 15, 2027 (or the end of the promotional season).

One winner will be randomly selected on or around February 22, 2027, by an independent administrator. Interestingly, the rules explicitly state that the Bronco is awarded “as is” with whatever road wear, cosmetic imperfections, and mileage it accumulates during the 17-game cross-country tour (which Ski estimated will approach 40,000 miles).

I look good with the Bills Bronco, don’t I?

The 17for17 Tour is officially underway, with Ski having kicked off the journey by driving the custom rig down to Houston for the Bills’ season opener. As the tour continues to roll through the regular-season slate, every dollar raised helps provide critical support for pediatric hospitals across the country.

You can follow along with every leg of the cross-country journey, tailgate stop, and hospital visit on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook at @17for17tour. Let’s show the league what Buffalo generosity looks like—and as always, Go Bills!
