Cherise is a Chicago-based writer, editor and trusted car expert with 20 years of experience in the automotive industry. Her work has been published by U.S. News and World Report, Car and Driver, SlashGear, The Car Connection, Chicago Tribune, HowStuffWorks, CarGurus, Hagerty, Autoblog, USA Today, The Awesomer, and Rides & Drives. In addition to writing, Cherise currently serves as the Vice President of Membership for the Midwest Automotive Media Association. She's the mom of a whip-smart five-year-old, who’s been able to identify Subarus as long as he’s been able to talk and loves riding around in “Mama’s race car” (stock 2019 WRX) and “Dada’s monster truck” (lifted 2023 Outback Wilderness). Oh, she's a total LEGO nerd and has worked as a model builder at the company’s North American headquarters (yes, really).
